About
The Commission is an independent publication focused on one question: what changed that could affect a travel advisor’s income?

Marie-Claude Gagnon
Marie-Claude leads The Commission’s editorial direction and standards. Her mandate is simple: give travel advisors in the United States and Canada verified, actionable intelligence on commissions, incentives, supplier changes and financial risks.
Coverage is selected for its direct impact on advisor income—not general industry attention.
Independent by design. Advertising is commercially separate from Money Database placement, Money Moves coverage and editorial conclusions.
Useful before it is loud
We publish only developments with a direct, identifiable financial impact for travel advisors in the United States or Canada. Every story must explain who is affected, what changed, what action to take and when to take it.
We do not republish other outlets’ articles. We summarize the financially relevant development, add advisor-focused analysis and link to supplier terms or original reporting.
How we label sources
- Official supplier source: published terms, supplier portals or direct company announcements.
- Trade reporting: reporting from an established travel-industry publication.
- Multiple verified sources: analysis checked against more than one credible source.
Submissions are leads, not coverage. Advisor tips and supplier promotions are independently verified. A supplier submission never receives ranking preference.
